First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OMRON Corporation.
Electrical Engineer
First, I had a phone screening where they mostly asked about my past roles and experience. Then, the second interview didn't have any technical questions. Instead, they focused on the job duties and how my previous experience aligns with them, plus some soft skills questions.
- Can you describe a time you faced a major challenge and how you handled it?
Customer Service Representative
So I had 3 interviews in total, 2 were done online and 1 was onsite. The first online one was with HR for screening, and the second online one was with my direct manager. The onsite interview was with the head of the department. Both the manager and the head of the department were young ladies and had really positive vibes.
- How would you manage interactions with individuals from various age demographics, specifically older employees who might report to you?
Product Manager Intern
The interview process involved two rounds, both with hiring managers. The first was with the direct manager, and the second was with another manager for a second opinion. There was no HR involvement. The interviews focused on getting to know you and your motivations for the role.
- Tell me about yourself.
- Can you share something about yourself that isn't on your resume?
- What makes you interested in this particular position?
Senior HR Business Partner
The interview process had 4 steps. First, an interview with the recruiter. Second, an interview with the hiring manager and a colleague. Third, an assessment with internal recruiters and colleagues. Fourth, a presentation to the business and CEO with a business case. The whole process took 3 months.
