Before the interview I was asked about my salary needs and the recruiter said it was workable. Then I was interviewed and got an offer for a salary $8000 less than I said I would take. This was the same salary I made back in 2014. I asked for the minimum I would accept based on adjudication salary standards in DC. I never heard back from the recruiter.

They asked about my citizenship, if I had an active security clearance, and a driver's license, just basic stuff to see if I met their requirements. I declined because I didn't like the hourly wage; $23 an hour isn't worth leaving my family for and moving to an expensive city. I heard they have bad management and low pay everywhere.
