Had a good phone interview and then a virtual one that seemed to go okay. They then had me do some practice designs to show what I could do, which I sent in and they seemed to like them. Then I didn't hear anything for two weeks, so I emailed them about the role, and they told me I didn't get it. They were just going to ghost me.

Started with a 50-question aptitude test, done in about 12 minutes. Passed that and had to do a typing test to check computer skills. The first interview was good, people were nice and welcoming. Got a tour of the office, which was busy, seemed like a good sign. The second interview was with the owners. One was friendly, the other seemed uninterested. For this new role, I didn't get the impression they knew how to keep their clients. I mentioned researching their clients' feedback, which wasn't great. One owner agreed it could improve, but I think I might have offended them. I felt I met their requirements, but I got the vibe I wasn't who they were looking for. It seems like the role isn't the solution to their problems, so not getting an offer isn't a big deal. I think they'll figure out how to improve their process, which would save them money.

I got a call to come in for an interview. When I arrived, they had me take an aptitude test. Everyone there seemed really nice and focused on their work. The person who interviewed me talked a lot about the company, and we chatted for about an hour. The whole vibe felt really relaxed and welcoming.

So I'm a professional Web and Graphic designer with 5+ years experience and they called me in for an interview with an assessment test before hand. I drove 2 hours to get there and then they dismissed me. They said I didn't finish enough questions to get a score, so I didn't qualify for the interview. I only answered 9 questions, so make sure you do more than that or your gas will be wasted.
