First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OMEGA Engineering.
Design Engineer
It was a methodical and approachable interview with relevant questions about my CV. Three people interviewed me, and they were really nice and not intimidating. We talked through the business, and I was shown around. Overall, it was a good interview with a mix of questions.
- What are your long-term career goals?
Assembler
I walked in and felt welcomed like family by the staff. An HR lady interviewed me for about 15 minutes, she was friendly and explained the company. Then, two production supervisors came in and asked about my experience with electronic assembly, my shift availability, and my start date. They gave me a tour of the building and production floors, and I sat at two stations where a worker showed me how to assemble product, which I did without any issues.
- Did you have any experience assembling components using a microscope?
Instrument Technician
It was a pretty chill and easy interview process. They mainly wanted to know about my experience and how I could be a good fit for the company. They're looking for folks who are eager to learn and develop with them. Attendance is a really big deal to them, so they're strict about it.
- What are your career aspirations for the next five years?
Project Accountant
Application to interview was quick. Two interviewers asked technical questions about accounting software and practices.
- Can you walk me through the functions of the accounting software, step-by-step?
