So I had this interview last year, and the interviewer was like 15 minutes late, and I had to prompt her to join. And during the whole conversation, she seemed really unprofessional, like maybe intoxicated? She was slurring, repeating questions, muting herself mid-sentence, and cutting me off. At one point, I thought she was vomiting while muted. She also shared what seemed like confidential info about other people and the company, which was weird. I did hear back like a month later, asking if I wanted to do the next round, but honestly, I doubt she even remembers me.

So I had 3 interviews total. First one was with the recruiter, then the second was with the line manager, and the last one was with the VP. The initial two interviews were pretty chill and I felt like they went really well. I was so sure I had the job after the second one, I was super excited! But the third interview felt totally different. I felt like I was repeating myself and didn't really get to elaborate much, even though I had already covered a lot. The vibe with the VP just wasn't there. Then I had to chase them for an answer myself, and all I got back was an automated response. Super unprofessional and rude after three interviews, honestly. I was really disappointed and shocked that there was no feedback.

My interview experience at Omaze was great. Jess and Nimco made it feel human. They seemed genuinely interested in my past work and kept me informed, making it a smooth process. I learned a lot about Omaze's culture and am excited about their future growth. Thanks to the team for a good candidate experience!

So first, an internal recruiter will call to see if you're a good fit, it's like a 20-30 min chat. Then, there are 3 more interviews. I had a first meeting with the hiring manager online, then an in-person one with the hiring manager and another senior manager. After that, I had a final online interview with a senior leader, who was the CEO. The in-person part involved a whiteboarding session to go over my experience and how I'd handle things. They were good about keeping me in the loop, so it all felt pretty smooth.
