Got a call for an interview a few months after applying. The interview was on zoo grounds in the education building. I was interviewed by three people and it was pretty laid back.

It was an in-person interview that lasted about 15 minutes, and I was interviewed by one other person. We talked right there at the zoo. They gave me the job offer pretty much immediately after we finished talking. The people were nice. They didn't ask a ton of questions. A couple of questions were about what you'd say if someone asked you about a specific animal. The best way to answer is to admit you don't know but you'd find out for them, and never make up information.

The hiring process was quick and efficient. The interview was conducted over the phone and it was simple and pretty easy. The training was rather abrupt, I was thrown out on the first day with help from a coworker.
