The interview process was clear, moved quickly, and was actually enjoyable. It involved a sequence of online meetings, followed by an in-person meeting with senior leaders. The recruitment team handled the offer process efficiently and on time.
- Describe your approach to tackling the company's real-world challenges.
- How does your past experience align with addressing similar challenges?
Consultant
Omada's interview process was a bit longer than I've seen elsewhere, maybe because it's a Danish company and they do things a bit differently. It started with a quick phone chat, then a Skype interview with HR, and finally an in-person meeting. It felt a bit intimidating overall, but they were organized and kept me updated. The company is growing its North America presence, and Identity Access Management and Governance is a really important and growing field. It was a good experience.
- Can you introduce yourself and elaborate on your professional background?
- Could you complete a personality assessment?
- Can you take two timed ability tests to gauge your logic skills?
Software Engineer
This was the worst interview I've had in my 5 years of experience. After initial HR calls, I was asked to take an IQ test, a numerical/logical test, and a personality test. The results of the personality test were discussed on a call with a psychologist. I also had a technical assessment, which I don't recall much about, so it was likely standard. I passed these stages and was invited to a final meeting with the team manager and previous interviewers. The manager, who was consistently late for my earlier meetings, asked me about my general experience, repeating questions I'd already answered. Despite this, they decided I wasn't a good fit. I feel they should research interview validity instead of using questionable methods.
- Details of the initial HR call, if remembered.
- IQ test questions.
- Questions related to numerical and comprehension abilities.
Machine Learning Engineer
Overall the most thoughtful and respectful interview process I have seen. They respected candidate time and also built a process that allowed for the signal they were looking for. It included an HR screen, a live coding session, and then model design discussions with ML, Product, and Data Eng. The model design parts all built off each other, continuing the thread of a hypothetical model built in the ML discussion into the Product and Data Eng discussions.
