First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Olympus Group.
Costume Shop Manager
The interview process included 4 interviews total. It started with a phone interview with HR, followed by an on-site interview with the supervisor. Then, there was another on-site interview with the team. The final step was a phone interview with a leadership figure. The entire process spanned a little over a month. All interviews were quite casual, mainly focusing on a general vibe check, with only a few questions about my actual work experience. I was one of two final candidates. They said I'd hear back after the last call, but I never did. It's okay though, since I would have declined the offer anyway due to the pay and PTO being lower than my current role, but it still felt unprofessional, especially after I took time for the on-site interviews.
- What makes you interested in this role?
Administrative Assistant
This role is a main point of contact for customers, so the interview process was likely more thorough than for other positions. I met with 5 different people before getting the offer. However, the interviews themselves were pretty relaxed. While skills are important, they placed a bigger emphasis on personality and a willingness to learn. It was nice to feel my interview nerves ease up as things went on.
- How would you deal with challenging customer interactions?
Print Dye Sub Specialist
It was a relaxed and pleasant interview. It started with a phone call, and then I went to their facility. They asked basic questions about my personal goals and what I hope to accomplish at the company. If you show that you're eager to learn, they'll give you a chance, and as you develop, more advancement opportunities will open up.
- In five years, where do you envision yourself?
Sales
I sent in my resume online and HR called me pretty quickly, within a couple days. The whole process was pretty short because I seemed to have everything they were looking for. It was more about seeing if the job would be a good fit for me long-term, like if the commute worked, what my future goals were, and about pay, etc.
- What are your five-year career aspirations?
