Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Oliver Wyman.
Intern
The interview process started with an HR screening, followed by behavioral and fit interviews. Then, there were two rounds of case interviews. The interviewers were very nice.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What motivates your interest in Oliver Wyman?
- What makes you want to pursue a career in consulting?
Intern
First, there was an online assessment focusing on mental math and graph interpretation. Following that, I had a 30-minute case interview and a 30-minute behavioral interview. It was pretty standard stuff, and the case interview was actually on the easier side.
- What are some standard behavioral questions?
- What are your motivations for applying to OW?
- Can you share an experience where you encountered a specific situation?
Intern
I attended an assessment centre in London with 3 other candidates. We rotated through 3 individual case studies and then did one panel interview. The whole thing took a few hours and they got back to me about 2 weeks later.
- Can you tell me about your CV?
- What are your motivations for applying?
- What are your future aspirations?
