I was first contacted via email to schedule a video interview, which went really well. Right after that, they asked me to come in the next day to meet the store manager and shadow an associate. During the shadowing, they wanted me to interact with clients as much as possible, though it was a bit tricky since I wasn't sure what specific conversational points they were looking for. Before the shadowing, I had an interview with the store manager to get to know each other. After shadowing, I had a debrief with the manager to discuss my thoughts on the process. I was pretty frustrated because they asked a lot of questions that made me think they'd follow up about an offer or at least give me some communication. I got neither. I followed up twice to ask if I'd been passed over or if there was an offer, and... nothing. They just completely ghosted me, which really shows their 'professionalism' and true colors. Being upfront and honest doesn't have to disrespect the applicant. A simple rejection wouldn't lose them a potential future client. Ghosting does. It's super unprofessional. If anyone working there reads this, please do better.

It was a quick interview. We mostly talked about what the job entails and its key responsibilities. They also mentioned tips and Amazon bonuses as ways to make extra money since the hourly pay is a bit low. I think there was a video part and a phone call involved, which seems to be standard for most interviews.

The interview is usually quick, around 20 minutes. They want to see how good your communication skills are because the job involves a lot of talking and general small talk. If that part goes well, you then get to shadow someone and observe the process or talk to customers. They'll figure out if you're a good fit from there.
