Applied online and got an email from a recruiter within a week. Had a 20-30 minute call with the recruiter to discuss. The manager interviewed me the next day. The recruiter called me a few minutes after that interview and invited me to a second interview. After that second interview, I got great feedback and then got a verbal offer over the phone two days later.

Behavioral Technical

It was a waste of time. There were three rounds of interviews. The interviews were pretty relaxed, and we just talked about my experience and the company in more detail. I felt like all the interviews went well, but then four days after my final interview, I got a generic email saying they weren't hiring for the role anymore due to changes. It was frustrating that they put me through interviews when the role was uncertain.

Behavioral Presentation

The marketing manager reached out and scheduled a phone call. I was able to interview the next day, which was super convenient. I got there and waited in a conference room for about 10 minutes before the manager arrived. It felt like a mix of chatting and answering questions, which was more engaging than a standard Q&A. This setup actually helped me see if I'd be a good fit for the team and company culture. I learned that the main office has tight control over local marketing creative stuff. They didn't budge on salary, and since it wasn't in the job ad, I think I messed up by saying a number first. They asked for my portfolio, but not a writing sample. They said they'd let me know either way, but it's been two weeks and I haven't heard back.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

Started with a tough phone call with HR, felt like I had to justify my entire existence and career history, explaining every detail of my work. The recruiter seemed unaware of my local market or real estate dealings. Then, a Zoom meeting with the hiring manager was much better, she was welcoming and asked insightful questions. The final stage involved meeting some employees over coffee, where the expectation was for me to guide the conversation for about an hour.
