The interview process was quite lengthy. It began with HR, then progressed to the hiring manager, then numerous peers, and finally the VP. While the process offers a good feel for the company, it felt like there were too many people involved, making me wonder if the hiring manager was capable of making their own decision. Despite this, I went through the process smoothly and felt I met some great people. The issue arose when the hiring manager and HR went silent after promising to respond within two weeks. I followed up for over a month with no reply. This review serves as a warning: if a company puts you through a 3-month interview process, you get good feedback, pass the final interview, and then get ghosted, it suggests they don't respect your time. It's unfortunate because their service offering is good, but their treatment of applicants is disappointing. They should ensure HR responds to all applicants, not expect us to follow up.

The interview experience was generally positive, but the follow-up regarding next steps was quite unprofessional. Following an initial interview, a second interview was promptly scheduled. Unfortunately, this second interview was canceled just minutes before it was due to begin. While that was disappointing, what happened next was completely unacceptable. I was informed that the second interview would be rescheduled for the following week, but this never occurred, and I received no further communication. I attempted to follow up via phone calls and emails but never received a response, which I found to be a lack of courtesy and professionalism. It seems that some individuals at Okta could benefit from reviewing their company's Core Values, particularly the sections on decency and respect.

The interview process was quick, comprehensive, and even better than I anticipated! Everyone I interacted with was incredibly kind, offered valuable feedback, showed genuine enthusiasm for the company, and the entire process moved along very efficiently. It included a phone screen, an interview with the hiring manager, a prep session also with the hiring manager, a mock discovery call, and finally, an interview with a VP.
