I applied online and then had an in-person interview about a week later. They asked me "on a scale from 1 to 10, how badly do you want this job?", which I thought was pretty condescending and pointless. I didn't know how to answer so I just picked a number and then they asked "what would make it a 10?", which I felt like I shouldn't have to beg for a job.

- What would need to happen for you to rate your desire for this job a 10?
IT Analyst
Usual application process, but they added a pre-interview one-way video interview. The offices were nice and the building felt secure. They asked the usual questions, and I appreciated that they didn't make me repeat information I'd already provided, like most companies do. I felt like they respected my time. I enjoyed the interview, but ultimately didn't get an offer.
- Can you tell me about your experience with usual interview questions?
MSA
Super welcoming vibe, really comfy atmosphere. The people were professional and made me feel like I really wanted to join the team. I felt like they genuinely considered me. It started with a phone interview, and then they invited me for an in-person meeting. They were super clear with all the details and made sure I had time to ask my questions.
- What made you decide on OKCU?
- What's your motivation for seeking employment within a financial institution?
- In five years, assuming you get this job, what's your outlook for yourself?
Member Service Representative
I arrived at the main administration building, filled out a paper application on a clipboard, and then was taken to their conference room for a one-on-one interview with the head of HR. She asked some basic questions about why I wanted to work for them and what my job duties were at my previous employers.
- Why would you want to work for us?
- What were your job duties at your previous employers?
