It was pretty simple. There were 10 questions asked by the interview panel. They each took turns asking, and they were patient and repeated questions if needed. It felt scripted, but that makes sense for most first-round interviews.

The interview was VERY scripted. People asked specific questions that were created for them. They weren't allowed to expand on the questions if I didn't understand them. They could only re-read the question word-for-word. Possibly the most robotic interview I've ever been part of.

You'll be interviewed by a panel that includes staff you might work with, a supervisor, and someone from another part of the department. HR gives them a list of questions to ask. They'll ask about the job, how you'd handle different situations, your past work ethic, and general questions about how you cope during or after physical takedowns or confrontations.

They got back to me super quick after I applied and set up the interview really fast. The actual interview was a bummer though: it started way late and they seemed flustered. It was a state interview, so they said they had to stick to a set list of questions. The three people interviewing me didn't seem too into it, but they were nice enough, just kinda bland. The whole thing was about 30 minutes. They called me back in two days with an offer. But, the salary was way less than we talked about in the interview. The HR person argued that the salary range started way lower than advertised and was spread out over $14,000.00 - not true, but that's another thing. I agreed to a drug test, drove 3 hours to do it, and told them they'd have to negotiate salary. In the end, they wouldn't budge, and I turned the offer down.
