Had a pretty demanding take-home test that took me several hours to complete. I even went the extra mile on some parts. Waited for over a month without any word back. I had to chase them for an update because I had other offers, and that's when they finally told me no. I asked for some feedback since I put so much time into it, but they didn't give me any. I feel like companies that handle things this way are usually terrible to work for and don't value their candidates. I strongly advise avoiding them.

After submitting my application, I was contacted to complete a project. It was a pretty involved project that took a lot of time, wasn't paid, and honestly, it felt like work they could potentially use. I spent dozens of hours on it, and then... nothing. They just ghosted me. It was extremely unprofessional and a real bummer, especially since I've been a lifelong NBA fan.
