We started with phone call interviews. Then, there was a walk-through of the job site, which was actually a hidden interview. After that, we had a conference interview. The main co-owner, Laura Ruiz, is the one who makes the hiring decisions and can also blacklist candidates, so pay close attention to her.

They do a deep background check, looking at your social media like Facebook and Instagram. If they see you party too much, you're unqualified. First, there's a phone interview, then a second round with a tour of the building. After that, you wait 2-3 weeks. If you don't get the job, don't expect another chance, especially since the job opening is always new (someone quits every 3-6 months, or they wait a year). They'll blacklist you.

Had a quick phone interview with a really nice person. Then they had me come in for an in-person interview. It was pretty relaxed with standard questions. They were super patient and asked some really good questions based on my resume and what I had to say.

It's a simple process. You'll talk with two managers from the department and one senior manager. They'll ask you questions about your past jobs and science classes you've taken. They'll also go over your resume. It's pretty straightforward and takes about 30 minutes. You submit your resume through Craigslist.
