Geologist
You apply online via ONGC’s website, either using your GATE score or through a direct exam. They shortlist candidates based on GATE marks or written test results. If shortlisted, you’ll have a technical and HR interview to check your geology knowledge and see if you're ready for field work. Finally, they look at your interview performance, verify your documents, and check your medical fitness for the final selection.

It was a really easy interview, the person interviewing me was super nice. They asked me basic fundamental questions about core subjects like computer networks, DBMS, C, and software engineering. Petroleum Engineer
This was the worst interview experience ever with the worst company. Everyone only had a very short interview, literally 10 minutes long. They ultimately selected candidates based on grades. The work culture is also terrible. They selected 12 students, and all of them had interviews of 10 minutes or less. I was interviewed in October.
