& Process

I applied online and the director of pharmacy called me for an interview the next week. He told me the process: a 30 minute chat with him and a 30 minute panel interview with the pharmacists and technicians. Interviews are only on Tuesdays and Thursdays because of the panel part. I called him back Wednesday and he tried to set up an interview for the next day, which I didn't really like but agreed to. When I got there, he didn't ask much, just a few experience questions and left a lot of time for my questions. It was pretty casual. The panel part was good though. I met the team, and they seemed nice and focused on goals. They explained the job and what they expect in more detail. That was the best part for me, I got a feel for the atmosphere and how I'd fit, and saw everyone's expectations. Lastly, I got a tour of the place and they told me how they'd follow up. Even though everyone was nice, it seemed like the schedule and hours weren't a good fit for either of us.

I got to the interview about 15 minutes early and hung out in the waiting room, chatting with the receptionist. Later, I was taken to a room where I met with a group of managers and other pharmacy staff. They each introduced themselves and asked me questions one after another. After the interview part, I got a tour of the place. They told me I'd hear back by Tuesday; my interview was on a Friday.

The interview process involves an initial phone interview with behavioral questions. If that goes well, you'll have an onsite interview scheduled with the hiring managers. They'll then decide on the best fit for you.
