The manager reached out to set up an in-person interview. During the interview I met with 6 team members, and each asked a question related to the job. I was told what to expect beforehand. It was about an hour long. Everyone was nice and seemed to respect my time and answers. The next day, the hiring manager offered a plant tour where I saw the facility and got more examples of the work. We also talked to employees there about their jobs. I didn't get the job in the end, but it was a good experience, and I felt respected.

The interviewers really seemed to emphasize the Star method a lot, sometimes focusing more on whether I used that format than on the actual substance of my responses. It felt a bit robotic. I've also been on the other side as an interviewer, and I've heard feedback that a good answer wasn't given much credit because it didn't strictly follow the Star method, which I found hard to rate highly if they weren't using it.

I interviewed with a team of four, including the hiring manager. They asked a number of questions in a friendly and approachable way. I was asked about my experience with training development, including the tools I've used and the typical timeline for such projects. There were also some behavioral questions. The interview went for a bit over an hour, and I heard back about the results about three weeks later, though I wasn't selected for the role.

I applied online and got an email from HR. The hiring manager then emailed me about interview dates and times. It was an in-person interview, and everyone was professional and friendly. There was only one interview, and they asked questions going around the table. They'll email you the details about the interview.
