I only went through the HR part of the interview process. My experience was okay to pretty good. They asked me general HR questions like why I was looking for a new job, what I expected from Odoo, and about my experience with ERP implementations. It seemed like they were searching for someone with experience as a business analyst or project manager who could juggle multiple projects at once.

I had the meeting scheduled in my calendar for 9 AM, but 30 minutes before, I received a message asking if we could postpone it by 45 minutes because the HR Team Lead had something come up. Things happen. During the interview, the manager asked how I envisioned the role and what kind of person I am, likely to assess cultural fit, which I understood. However, when I asked what it takes to be successful in this position, she rudely replied, "I'm passing that question back to you." That's when I realized this company wasn't a good fit for me, and I wasn't for them. The job description doesn't match the actual tasks, and the title should be Consultant or Account Manager, not Business Analyst.

  • How would your family or friends describe you?
  • What are your expectations for the tasks involved in this role?
