The interview process included a virtual interview followed by an in-person six-person panel interview in Seabrook, TX. Odjfell does not cover travel expenses, even for out-of-town candidates. Despite driving five hours from Dallas for the interview, I experienced being ghosted by HR, TA, and the hiring manager for over a month. I believed the interview went well and that I answered questions appropriately for the role. Providing timely feedback and covering travel costs would be a minimum expectation.

The whole process took about 2 months. I had to go to the office for at least 5 interviews. They made an offer that I rejected, then they came back with a better one and promised the contract after the weekend. But on Monday, they suddenly called and rescinded the offer. They can probably do this since nothing was signed, but it doesn't feel professional. It was a confusing situation because one Director I interviewed with was planning to leave, and another resigned a week after I interviewed with him.

The interview process was well set up. It lasted for 3 hours and included 2 panel interviews and a site tour. The questions were easy, but they kept repeating them. One of the interviewers seemed bored from the start, which was a bit confusing.

first there was a phone call with hr to chat about the job and my qualifications. it was super chill and the questions weren't hard. then, i had another interview at the office with hr, management, and someone who would be my coworker. it was a standard interview with questions and more info about the job and what they expected. still pretty relaxed.
