First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OCZ Storage Solutions.
Sales Support Specialist
The interviewer was friendly and the interview went well. I was initially interviewing for a different role, but the manager thought I'd be a better fit for the Sales team, which was thoughtful. I got an offer after three weeks.
- Can you tell me about yourself and what you're seeking?
- What are your career aspirations?
Firmware Engineer
The interview process was really straightforward. They mostly asked standard questions, focusing on whether I would be a good fit and easy to work with, or if I'd be difficult.

Sales Support
Got a call from HR about a week after putting my resume on Monster. We set up an interview for the next week. I went in and met with the HR person and the marketing director, who admitted she was recently promoted from the role I was applying for. The interview lasted about an hour and seemed to go well. They asked typical questions like why I wanted the job, my future aspirations, and my knowledge of the company. I think my answers impressed them since I was invited back to meet the manager. They also made me take a personality test. Two weeks later, I finally got another call because the manager was traveling. He seemed laid-back but a bit too confident, also mentioning his rise through the company. He warned me about the low starting pay and stressful nature of the job, but assured me he was understanding as long as the work got done. It felt like a done deal. A week later, I got an offer. The pay was really low for an entry-level role. I asked for a bit more, and the HR lady said she'd check with the manager, but I never heard back. I tried contacting them, but got no response. It was a terrible and unprofessional experience.
- What makes you want this particular job?
Senior Software Engineer
The interview process involved 3 interviews, starting with the team leader, followed by the project manager, and concluding with the site manager. It was a very respectable process. Ultimately, a job offer was extended with one week to make a decision.
- Can you tell me about your previous work experiences?
- Do you have any questions regarding concurrency?
