Behavioral Presentation

From the first email, you feel like Octopus treats you as an equal, person-to-person, which helps you feel comfortable from the first interview with Jaqueline/Carlos, allowing you to express yourself without the typical interview nerves. Since it doesn't feel like a job interview but more like a conversation, you feel calm and at ease explaining what you know and how you do it. You learn the conditions from this first contact, and regardless of the final decision, you feel valued. The selection process involves 2/3 interviews and, depending on the role, a challenge. This challenge helps them assess your true self (your team values) and your fit within the company. Here, you see that experience and knowledge aren't everything; attitude is also valued.

Behavioral Technical Group Presentation Case

It was a 3-stage interview process. The first was a quick 15-minute phone call, pretty chill, mostly just introducing myself. The second interview was a long 3-hour session with group and individual assessments. The group parts were a bit challenging, involving case studies and situations. Another group task was to design or improve products for Octopus. After that, we moved to individual assessments, mainly discussing why I wanted to join. Then, I got to interview current employees and managers, which was a relaxed way to ask my own questions. The whole experience made it easy to be myself. The third and final interview was also relaxed, a one-on-one chat to confirm my interest in joining and address any final questions I had for the company. After all that, I was good to go!
