First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Octagon.
Intern
Applied through LinkedIn and follow up with 2 rounds of interview, the overall process took 2-3 weeks. Mostly background check to test your competency and whether you're suitable for the role. Great interview experience, nice & enthusiast interviewers, open to answer question from candidate.
- Can you introduce yourself and tell me about your past internship experience?
Intern
I applied for the Octagon Experience online back in January 2011, and I heard back around mid-February saying I was a finalist. I then had to interview with someone from the Portland office. The interviewer didn't seem to know what they were doing. It was supposed to be a Skype call, but it ended up being a phone call. It was kinda weird from the start because they didn't ask me about my strengths/weaknesses or any past experiences.
No confirmed questions were included in this interview report.
Intern
The interview process was smooth overall and there were no questions that I was not expecting. I had a panel interview during which I was asked standard questions that one might expect during the hiring process for a role as an intern.
