Account Manager
The overall interview process was well organized. It was occasionally frustrating to have to go through internal recruiters instead of directly with the hiring team, as answers took longer. For example, I was told in the first interview that I would be proceeding to the second interview, but I had to chase this information from the internal recruiter. The London team members were very pleasant, and the take-home task was not overly detailed for an interview assignment.
- Can you introduce yourself and walk me through your background?
- Can you share a situation where you dealt with a challenging client relationship?
- How would you go about finalizing a sale with a potential new customer?
Account Manager
It was a pretty simple interview process. The first round had basic questions, but later rounds got more specific to the job. For more info on the role, it's best to ask the hiring manager since the recruiter wasn't totally sure about the details.
- Why are you a good fit for this position?
Account Manager
I applied online and their HR rep got back to me about a week later. I had an initial phone interview and they indicated I'd move on to the next stage to interview with the hiring manager. The HR rep set up the phone interview through email and mentioned the manager would contact me. The manager didn't call. I followed up with the HR rep, and they proposed rescheduling for the next day. The manager again did not call. A few hours later, I followed up again with the HR rep to attempt rescheduling. I did not receive a response for two business days. The HR rep informed me that they had paused recruitment for this role and would be in touch if anything changed. However, a week later, the job is still listed online. While I understand that oversights can happen, being stood up for two scheduled interviews without an apology or clarification is quite discourteous. I invested considerable time preparing for an interview that never materialized. I was genuinely enthusiastic about this role and the company, but this experience has significantly deterred me.
- Can you introduce yourself?
