First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OCF Realty.
Assistant Property Manager
It was a pretty simple process. They asked me how I'd manage different scenarios that come up in property management. OCF manages a bunch of different properties, so some situations are handled way differently than others.
- What's your approach to handling an emergency call in the middle of the night?
Leasing Coordinator
So first I had like an informal Zoom interview. Then I went in person for a second interview. They asked a lot of little questions that had nothing to do with the job, really.
- How do you handle stress?
- What are your stress management techniques?
Coordinator
It was a two-part Zoom interview process. First was a group interview with some general questions. Then I had a one-on-one with the CEO, which was a bit awkward, and I don't think we clicked. They really seemed eager to hire someone, and the offer was good, but I turned it down. I sometimes wonder if I should have taken it, but a friend who used to work there advised against it. It seems like a decent place to start a career.
- What are your long-term career aspirations over the next five years?
Administrative Assistant
The interview was virtual and scheduled to fit my availability, which was convenient. It lasted about 45 minutes. It was a pretty chill interview and the interviewer was nice. The interviewer was upfront about how the hiring process works.
- What experiences do you have that would be beneficial for this position?
- Can you tell me about your experience in real estate?
- What are your future career aspirations?
