First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OCD Anxiety Centers.
Director
The interview process was very seamless and easy compared to others I've experienced. The entire process took place virtually. The first round was with a third-party recruiter, lasting about 15 minutes. He was very kind and knowledgeable about the organization but couldn't answer specific questions. The second round was scheduled for 20 minutes with the Regional Director, who was also very kind. I had many questions, and she was willing to answer them all, extending the interview to an hour. Her generosity and carefulness made me intrigued. The third interview was with the COO and CEO, scheduled for about 20 minutes. This interview felt very corporate, with a vibe of "can you do the job or not." It was more structured and less warm than the previous two. I was disheartened to learn that the marketed salary and the salary I was told were not congruent with what the COO offered. I did express that $125k was not sufficient for the scope of the position. At that point, I knew I might not get the job. All is well, though. They have an incredible mission and product.
- How comfortable are you with informing clinicians about the 15-minute limit for one-on-one client sessions? And what would be your approach if you discovered a clinician consistently exceeded this time limit?
Clinical Outreach Sales Manager
I had a phone screen which was pretty standard, asking about my experience, and it took about 10-15 minutes. Then I had a second Zoom interview with the hiring manager. This interview was mostly personal questions, like asking about my family's origin, which I found unusual. They said I was moving on, but then I got a rejection email the next day. It was pretty disappointing, especially given the personal nature of the second interview.
- Can you describe a successful sale you made?
Admissions Specialist
The interview process was one of my favorites so far! Everyone was really welcoming and made me feel comfortable enough to be myself, which helped a lot with my nerves. I felt free to ask any questions I had, and they were all answered thoroughly. The people I met gave me a great sense of what the OCD Anxiety Center is all about and made me even more eager to join the team!
- What is your understanding of the Admissions Specialist role?
Front-Desk Receptionist
The interview process for this job was pretty simple. The interviewer will ask you questions about your past work experience and why you want this job. They also want to see what you're like as a person and what skills you have for the job. They're looking for someone who can fit in with the team, is flexible, and has a good attitude.
