The interview process was very long, starting from application submission and forms. There was an assessment and interviews with recruiters before the actual interviews. A lot of time was wasted on things that shouldn't have been done at the start; one needs to go through a long process but might not even qualify.

The interview was pretty straightforward. It involved one round with HR and then another with a department representative. The questions were pretty generic, and not much info was shared about the job itself. I was able to get through it with some general knowledge of the role.

It's a tough selection process with 5 stages designed to find highly capable individuals from other industries who have potential in Banking as high-caliber talents. A Masters degree is the minimum qualification unless you have an internal recommendation, and it doesn't have to be finance related. If you're selected, you'll go through a 5-step process: 1) Arithmetic and Grammar test. 2) HR interview. 3) A full day assessment course that includes Critical Analysis & Presentation, a One-to-one Roleplay where you act as higher management, and a Group Discussion simulating a management meeting with other candidates. You'll be assessed against other candidates who passed stage 2. 4) HR and senior management will review scores and figure out potential fits (you won't be involved). 5) Interviews with Department Heads (HoDs) you're deemed qualified for. It's a long but interesting process that favors not just intelligence, but also articulateness. The one-day assessment particularly favors those who present well.
