Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at OCBC.
Intern
Interviewer was nice and all, but didn't share much about the company. It was okay, but I'm still unsure if I'd fit in with the bank's culture. Also considering if the role is a good fit for me.
- What are your career aspirations in the next five years?
Intern
Hiring Manager reviews applications and selects candidates. HR then contacts selected individuals for an interview. My interview with the Hiring Manager was one round, lasting about 30-45 minutes. HR called with an offer a few hours after the interview, though this timing can vary.
- Can you tell me about your greatest strengths and weaknesses?
Intern
Very simple virtual interview; mainly asking behavioural questions and past experiences to alignment between culture fit and work experience. Some candidates will only have 1 round interview (about 30mins). 2 Rounds of Virtual Interview > Offer
