Business Development
The process involved meeting with several people. Initially, I was considered for a different role but ended up switching to an available one. I didn't meet any senior management, only the individuals I'd be working with daily.
- Can you tell me about your past experience and how you'd contribute here?
- What salary are you seeking?
- What is your earliest availability to start?
UI/UX Developer
It was a pretty straightforward process. I first chatted with a recruiter for a screening, then I met with the PM and the team I'd be working with. The whole thing moved quickly but was still thorough, and they were really chill about start dates.
- Are you open to relocation and can you tell me about your skillsets?
- What are some other questions you have for me?
Software Developer
First, there was a phone call to talk about the role and the team. Then, a technical interview with some questions about programming languages and frameworks, your past experience, and how you'd fit in. No coding was involved.
- Tell me about what you learned in your last role and how you'd use that here.
Systems Administrator
It was a phone interview, no in-person meetings. They needed someone because the previous contractor wasn't available. I was free so we discussed salary. Not much else to it.
- What salary do you expect?
