Over a few weeks, I went through 3 interviews. First up was a standard 1-hour HR screening. After that, I had a 1-hour video call via Google Meet with the hiring manager where they asked some specific and pretty tough questions. Before the third interview, I had to do a take-home exercise which took me about 2.5 hours. Then, in the third interview, I had to present the exercise I completed. This third interview was also a 1-hour Google Meet panel with 3 interviewers, and it felt kind of disjointed and unorganized. It took them 10 days to get back to me, even though I sent follow-up emails, and then they told me they hired someone else. It was pretty disappointing given I put in over 5.5 hours just for the exercises and interviews, plus all the prep time. Honestly, not a great experience overall.

It was a virtual interview and we wrapped up on time. Good idea to have specific examples ready to go, and make sure they directly relate to the job. They asked about my past jobs in order, from earliest to most recent. They wanted to know about my main duties, how I communicate, and what my managers thought of my work.

I was hesitant after reading Glassdoor reviews, but I went for it. A contact in HR connected me with the hiring coordinator for a 15-minute chat about the role, but I never got a response. Weeks later, they contacted me late on a Friday to set up an interview, then rescheduled it 10 minutes before it was supposed to start. When we finally did reschedule, they were late. It's been almost three weeks, and I've heard nothing. The whole thing was really unprofessional. They were upfront about the low salary and not-so-great benefits compared to the industry standard.
