Web Developer and Designer
The interview process was pretty simple. First, I sent in my application online. Then, I got a quick technical test on basic HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. After I sent that back, they confirmed I got the internship in a few days. They were easy to talk to the whole time.
- Could you explain the main differences between HTML, CSS, and JavaScript?
Data Science Intern
For a Data Science Intern role, expect a few rounds checking your skills and if you fit in. First up is Application Screening where they look at your resume and any projects you've done. Sometimes there's an Online Assessment with coding problems or a quiz on stats and ML. Then you'll likely have a Technical Interview (maybe 1 or 2 rounds) where they grill you on Python/R/SQL, stats, ML concepts, and data cleaning. After that, there's a Case Study or Problem-Solving Interview where you tackle a real data problem. Finally, you'll have a Behavioral Interview for soft skills and a chat with a Manager or HR to talk career goals and company fit. Oh, and they'll probably do a background check before making an offer.
- How does k-nearest neighbors (KNN) work?
- Can you write a SQL query to find the average salary by department from a given table?
- What's your approach to handling missing data in a dataset?
Data Analyst
The interview process was weird and not good, with no real structure and they didn't offer much help. I wouldn't suggest working here sometimes because it's unprofessional and they don't have assistants. Their communication is also bad, it took them two months to get back to my emails.
- What are your 5-year career goals?
Web Developer
The interview for the Web Developer Intern role was a blend of technical and behavioral questions. It began with a phone screening, then moved to a technical round covering HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React. We also talked about previous projects, how I approach problems, and fundamental ideas for web optimization and making sites responsive. The interviewers were cool and made it conversational and interactive. It all seemed to be about checking my technical skills and how I communicate to make sure I'd be a good fit for the internship.
- Can you explain how to optimize a webpage so it loads faster?
