Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Oaks Senior Living.
Certified Nursing Assistant
The interview experience was really professional. It was great having a CNA interview me for the CNA role, which made talking about things easier. I'd suggest having the salary range ready upfront, instead of needing the DON to call and give that info.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
Wellness Director
It was a really nice interview process. They asked good questions. I met with another Wellness Director and an Administrator. They showed me around the facility and gave me some information about the job requirements and what the residents need.
- Can you walk me through your previous work experience and how it applies to this role?
Community Relations Director
I went through several interviews with different managers. There were two phone interviews, then a Skype interview, and finally a face-to-face interview. I spoke with the Executive Community Director, the Regional Operations Director, and then the Corporate Director. After each interview, they told me what the next step would be and how long it would take.
- Can you explain how you measure and track performance and success?
Caregiver
They asked me about myself and then asked one interview question. They mentioned the starting pay is $12.50 and I might only get part-time hours. I feel like the starting pay should be a bit higher, but I guess it's fine if you're just starting.
- What would you do if a coworker was not a team player?
