I had a weird interview with a panel of six people. The other admins interviewing were really rude and defensive. They asked questions that were not related to the job. It seemed like ORNL staff already had someone picked for the job, not necessarily the best person.

I hadn’t interviewed in years, so I was pretty nervous about the whole process. Thankfully they made it very comfortable and painless. I actually found myself enjoying it! It was such a great experience getting to meet a wonderful group of people I would potentially be working with. It was a panel type interview with 7 or 8 prospective colleagues as well as the hiring manager.

  • Can you share an instance where you exceeded expectations to assist a coworker?
