Analyst
It was a pretty chill interview process. The person interviewing me was really nice and seemed genuinely curious about me and my interests. They talked a good bit about how the company works and why they thought my skills would be a good fit. Even though I didn't get an offer, the interviewer sent a nice personal note explaining their decision to go with someone else.
- What do you consider the most valuable skill you've acquired during your college years?
Fund Accountant
I had an interview with the company. A week before, I spoke with a recruiter. The process wasn't too involved. I went to their office in Downtown Fort Worth. We talked about my past work and what they were looking for in the role to see if I was a good fit. After I spoke with the hiring manager, it seemed like they were actually looking for an Auditor instead of a Fund Accountant. My impression was that they wanted someone who was a CPA and a Fund Accountant all in one. It's a great company, and I hope they find the right person.
- What is your reason for not pursuing your CPA?
Intern
So I had two interviews. The first one was with an associate and it was behavioral. Then I had a second interview with a VP, which was mostly behavioral but had a bit of a technical part to it. I got an offer a few days after the second interview.
