PR & Social Media Manager
Started with the application, then got an email asking about availability for a call. Had a call with HR, then with my direct Manager, followed by a call with the wider team. Then, a second call with HR, after which I received a contract proposal and then signed the contract.
- What is your vision for the brand's social media strategy?
Technology Business Manager
First, there was a recruiter call about my career history, it was very nice and not technical. Then, I had a phone interview with the Hiring Manager where we talked more about technical stuff and my career history. We also talked about whether I'd fit in with the company culture. The last interview was a panel with the Hiring Manager, HR, the Lead developer, someone from Senior Leadership, and a peer. They asked a lot of deep questions about my past experience, best practices, and how I'd handle difficult situations.
- Describe a situation where you couldn't meet a project deadline.
- Is it possible to manage projects using both traditional waterfall and Agile methodologies simultaneously?
Public Relations and Marketing Coordinator
Applied online via Malakye and was contacted by La Jolla Group in the same week. Had an interview with the Director of Public Relations/Marketing for O'Neill Women's, which focused on my social media experience and past projects. I mostly spoke and showed my work samples at the end. Then, I was given a project to create 6 O'Neill Womens social media posts. After two weeks with no word, I followed up via email. A few days later, HR sent an automated rejection, which felt impersonal given I'd emailed the hiring manager directly.
- For the Social Media Project, please include a Halloween-themed post.
BI & Integration Consultant
After applying online with your CV and motivation letter, the first interview is onsite at O'Neil Head Office in Warmond, Netherlands, with HR and the Team Manager. The second interview is a technical test about BI and integration. Then it's the end and the decision.
- Can you tell me about yourself?
- Are you able to learn new BI tools or programming languages?
- What motivates your interest in joining O'Neil?
