Behavioral

A phone call led to the interview which included 2 people and a tour of the facility. The setting was as expected for a small school, with students who are essentially committed for a few years. I connected with the students I met, and the staff seemed optimistic despite the conditions. I remained calm and focused on my area of expertise... English for the middle grades and the engaging daily activities I'll need to keep them interested and learning. Interviews go well when you know the situation... and the job goes even better after being hired. 'Go for what you know and you will be successful!!'
