Engineer
3 rounds of interviews, the usual pattern where you describe a system, and then do some leetcode style questions. The interviewer was nice and polite. Seems like there is no rush to hire for this role.

CAD Engineer
I went through two screening rounds and then a panel interview with seven interviewers. Each round was about a mix of technical skills, problem-solving ability, and communication. The panel interview was very intensive, with system design, coding, and behavioral questions. It checked my ability to think under pressure, explain my reasoning clearly, and work well with multiple stakeholders.

Performance Testing Engineer
Position: Quality & Performance Testing Engineer. I was chosen by an NVIDIA employee for the interview process, where I passed the first screening and then went to the second technical stage. After checking the requirements, I understood that I fully match them. The interview at first was planned with four participants, but none of them were QA specialists. We agreed on a convenient date and time for the interview, but a few days later the HR coordinator asked to move it because one of the participants was absent. We rescheduled, and two days before the new date I got confirmation. But on the interview day, it was again postponed for the same reason—the same participant was still not available. I found it strange: such a big company like NVIDIA could not show flexibility and responsibility in arranging an interview across different time zones. Then I asked if we could go ahead with three participants instead of four. HR had already canceled the meeting but then changed her mind and asked to continue at the planned time. The interview itself was two hours. Around one hour I was just telling about my experience, explaining what I did and how. During that time, I didn’t get a single question about the position. There was one technical question and a task to fix code generated by artificial intelligence. When they asked me to fix the code right away, I refused, saying that I can do it, but I need more time. The developer insisted that using anti-patterns, which basically turn the testing pyramid upside down with minimal and even useless unit test coverage, is normal practice and tried to convince me. Finally, I felt they actually wanted a DevOps + developer engineer who also does QA tasks but for a QA salary. Salary range was not mentioned or asked at all. Anyway, it was a useful experience. Next day I got an offer from another company where the interview process matched my role exactly. I can not say if the interview was hard or easy. I can say it did not match the role described in vacancy requirements and responsibilities.
