First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NutraClick.
Digital Advertising Analyst
I was initially rejected for a Digital Data Analyst role, but HR suggested I might be a better fit for an Ad Analyst position. I had a 15-minute phone interview with HR, which felt very scripted and apathetic. Following that, I was invited for a 2.5-hour in-person interview with five people. The questions were quite basic, and the overall vibe was strange. For instance, the CMO asked an inappropriate personal question about my living situation. I also noticed negative feedback about the company online regarding deceptive subscription practices and low-quality products, which made me reconsider if it was a good fit.
- The questions asked were pretty basic, with no unusual challenges.
Marketing Analyst
First, I had a phone interview with the HR person, and it went really well. The HR person gave me great feedback and said I was what they were looking for to join the marketing team, which made me optimistic for the next interview. The second interview was a phone call with another marketing analyst on the team. It was okay; they asked me a question about A/B split testing that I got wrong at first but then got right with a hint. The marketing analyst seemed pretty unenergetic, which was different from the first person.
- Tell me about A/B split testing.
Retention Marketing Associate
Your interview experience will start with a 15-30 minute phone call. After that, you'll have an in-person interview with four different people. The in-person interviews happen in this order: first the hiring manager, then the brand manager for one of the three brands, followed by the creative director, and finally the Chief Marketing Officer. But, if the hiring manager decides your answers aren't what they're looking for, you'll be told to leave by the receptionist and won't get to meet with the others. This interview is pretty stressful because you'll know right away if you don't get the job.
- The CMO will pose a logical question.
- All other interviewers will ask behavioral questions to determine your compatibility with the company's distinctive needs.
Inside Sales Representative
I talked with three upper management folks. They asked about my background and why I was interested in the job. They also wanted to know what I knew about the company and my sales experience. They really want to get a feel for who you are and what drives you. They're looking for someone energetic and outgoing who's willing to work hard and knows the details. It's important to know the products and be passionate about nutrition. The interview was pretty laid back; they don't want to intimidate you and want to make sure it's a good fit for everyone.
- Why do you think you'd be a great fit for this role?
