First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nussbaum Transportation.
Revenue Accounting Manager
This was quite a long process, honestly. They're really particular about who they bring on board, which I actually see as a good thing. There were some quizzes involved to make sure you'd fit into the work environment.
- Can you discuss your past work experience?
- What are your goals for the future?
- How do you feel about adapting to our work setting?
Software Engineer
The interview went well and the company has a really nice location. Buildings are nice and well kept. All the employees I talked to were professional kind and seemed like they enjoyed their job.
- What are your job expectations?
Truck Driver
I got in touch with the recruiter through their website, and they reached out via email to schedule a phone interview. After that, I had an in-person interview and a driving assessment. They asked some very direct but polite questions about the job and what the company expects, and then offered me the position.
- How would you and your family cope with being separated and the stress that comes with it?
Truck Driver
They do 3 interviews all in one day. They want to make sure you know what you're signing up for before they offer you the job. Everyone's super nice and you feel welcome right away. I'd totally recommend this company to anyone!
- How does your family feel about you not being home very often?
