Product Manager
I got what I'd call an email interview where they asked me 5 questions about my work habits and history. It took me about 30 minutes to write out thoughtful answers, pretty much like a phone screen. I got a standard rejection email back with no feedback at all. If this company treats candidates the way they seem to treat employees (just numbers to extract data from), then I'm glad I found out now rather than after I started.
- What about this NurseDash Product Manager role, specifically for Community Engagement, really grabbed your attention and made you want to apply?
- Our healthcare staffing app needs good user engagement and retention. Can you give examples from your previous work where you boosted engagement and retention for a product or app?
- As a Product Manager here, you'll need to find user needs and turn them into features. Can you tell us about a time you used user feedback to make a product better?
Software Engineer
A third-party recruiter contacted me about the role and asked some general behavioral questions. After I submitted a questionnaire, I got a link to book a virtual interview. The next week, the interview was cancelled 10 minutes before it was supposed to start without any heads-up. When I followed up about the cancellation, they said it was the recruiter's fault for not communicating and that the positions were already filled. It was a pretty bad experience overall. Also, their website had a bunch of typos, and their android app was buggy, opening a ton of tabs and sometimes not letting me sign up via email.
- In the next five years, what are your career aspirations within this field?
- Could you share your highest level of educational attainment?
- How many years of experience do you possess in relevant areas?
Operations Manager
Applied for a REMOTE Operations Manger position on Indeed and quickly got a response for an interview. During the interview, I was told that this position is not actually remote (wouldn't be going to an office but would be traveling to hospitals) and that I was not interviewing for a manager position but was interviewing for an associate position. The interviewer seemed to have no idea what she was talking about or asking, so eventually I thanked her for her time and said the position was not for me. This all seemed like a big scam to lure people in to working at NurseDash under false pretenses of being remote and being a higher position than what it actually is.

Account Manager / Operations Manager
I interviewed with all the execs, including the COO, CEO, and Chairman/Founder. It was a quick and easy 4-step process that took about 2 weeks. First, there was an intro call to see if I was a potential fit. Then, a cultural fit interview focusing on core values. After that, a deeper dive "sales" interview. The final step involved a presentation about a client and how to use the platform. It's not often you get to meet with executive leadership who are so approachable and open. The whole process was really smooth, and the team was very friendly.
