First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nurse-Family Partnership.
Educational Outreach Specialist
It was a really thorough process, all done in a panel format. They asked some really in-depth questions about my past work and how I could improve the organization. Each person on the panel got a chance to ask me something. I think there were two main rounds, and one involved a presentation.

Specialist
If the recruiter thinks you're a good fit, they'll send you to the first interview. The process is supposed to be easy, but I had to ask HR three times for the calendar invite for the next interview. It was pretty annoying. It felt very impersonal. The interview questions were standard, but the people asking them didn't seem very engaged. I waited three weeks to ask HR again because they never told me if I got the job until I asked. The whole thing didn't feel very smooth or professional, but that happens sometimes.
- Can you tell me about a time you worked with a diverse group of people?
- How do you approach conflict resolution?
- What's your preferred method of communication?
Nurse Home Visitor
I applied on their website and heard back about a week later. They set me up for a 1-hour virtual interview with a supervisor and upper management. I felt the interview went well and they were both friendly. They asked if I would be interested in shadowing a nurse and had me send another application in the next day, but then I never heard back from them about the job even after sending a follow-up email. The lack of communication after the interview was really disappointing.
- What do you know about this position?
- Why are you interested in this role?
- How do you feel about traveling to areas that might be unsafe?
Fundraiser
I applied in mid-July, and by the end of July I had a screening phone call with HR. The actual tech quality of the call was awful because the caller was using a hands-free device, which muffled her voice and made it hard to hear. I got rejected the very next day, but it's weird because the job posting is still renewed and actively promoted 3 months later.
