I liked that the problems were like real-world scenarios, not just abstract algorithms, focusing on data structures, algorithms, and practical coding. They let me explain my thinking, making it feel collaborative. The system design round was about architecting a scalable solution, and it was enjoyable. The interviewer gave good feedback and asked follow-up questions about design trade-offs. The culture fit interview was also positive, with thoughtful questions about teamwork, handling challenges, and my views on engineering practices like code reviews and testing. This round showed they value collaboration and quality. Overall, the process was well-structured with a good mix of technical and soft skills, and the interviewers were approachable and made me feel comfortable.

I had a phone interview with management which was pretty straightforward, they mainly wanted to know if I could get the project done on time and within budget. Then I had a phone interview with the client, which was also easy, and mainly involved me proving I could manage the project without much help. The whole thing took about three weeks, give or take.
