Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Nubank.
Customer Experience Analyst
The process started with the recruiter reaching out on LinkedIn, and then they sent more details via email. First, there was a group activity, and after that, I had an interview with the area leadership. Everyone was professional throughout. However, even after passing all the technical and cultural parts, the process was stopped at the background check/compliance stage. I felt that even though my technical performance was good, non-professional factors, like a credit check, really made the final decision, which was frustrating after going through the whole thing.
- In a crisis, how would you tackle a difficult customer issue?
Customer Experience Analyst
I applied in April, there was a simple online test and in June they got back to me for an interview. The first stage was a group interview and the next stage was individual. In July, there was the final phase. They sent an email the same week saying they liked the conversation and would keep me informed, but since the position was for early September, they might get back to me in a month. It took them over a month for a simple rejection, it's a joke, they put you in a state of anxiety for over a month waiting for a response, after all, it's a well-known company with good reviews, only to reject you in the end.
- Questions about the daily life of someone working in CX.
- A group interview phase involved a case study with examples of some customer service interactions.
- The final phase included more questions about how you behave in a customer service interaction.
Customer Experience Analyst
Long and very assertive process that works on creativity, language knowledge, and logic. It's very important to focus on diverse daily situations, already introducing the company culture and its values.
- Please bring an object that you believe represents what it means to be a Xpeer, and explain why.
