I went through a 2-step interview process. First, I interviewed with the group director. The second step involved an interview with the research group where I had to give a presentation. After that, there was a long silence for several weeks before I got a rejection email. I was told I was one of four people who got to the second round, but they really made me wait.

I was interviewed by 2 professors for the position. It was a simple interview. For me, it was online due to COVID. There was only one round, however, I think for NTNU it is two rounds normally. The questions were not so detailed but rather broad. It was one of the easiest job interviews I ever had.

Applied for the position, then got called for an interview after about 2 months. Had a 45-min chat with the hiring supervisors, which was a relax and nice conversation. Was positively impressed by the way the interview was conducted. It wasn't as technical as I imagined.
