It began with a call with the hiring manager. Following that, I had two online interviews with members of the data analytics team. They were all really nice, and I was bummed I didn't get an offer.

I got to the second round of interviews. But I think I asked a really hard question that nobody could answer, which might have ended my chances: 'What does diversity, equity, and inclusion look like at your company? What was the process of implementation and the result? If you haven’t implemented, how does your company plan to implement it?' No one answered it. What's worse, I haven't heard back after three follow-ups about my interview status. I gotta remember, it's not just them interviewing me, I'm interviewing them too. If I left questions unanswered, would I be a good candidate? Sadly, no company has given me an answer to this question during my job search. Once I stopped asking that question, offers started coming in (kinda depressing).

I started with a recruiter call, and then had to take a caliper test. After that, I met with the Senior Account Manager, which was super chill, almost like a chat where my questions got answered organically. Then I had a short meeting with the Director of Operations, which was nice but hard to gauge. The final interview was with the head of the department over video call; they were really understanding about me not being able to come back in person. It all went great, and I got an offer the next day. Everyone seemed really friendly, especially in my potential department.

I found the job online and got an email a few days later to come in for an interview. When I got there, the building seemed old and rundown. I met with an HR person who was kind of arrogant and didn't seem very interested. They asked me some basic questions about my resume and past jobs. Then I had to take a caliper test that took about an hour. After the test, the HR person didn't even say goodbye or ask if I had any questions. I decided not to send a follow-up email because the whole experience felt disorganized and the employees seemed off. I never heard back from them, which I wasn't really surprised about.
