The interview process was pretty intense, starting with HR then 2 interviews with Operations. All interviewers were intentional and provided a great overview of the role and requirements. I am excited to start my new role on 10/27.

It was a 2-part process. First, a quick 15min Zoom call with an HR rep to go over the job in more detail. Then, an hour-long interview with 3 management team members, which wasn't too bad. The only thing is they were all over the place describing the job, I'm not sure THEY even know what it is. Since it's a start-up and growing fast, things change quickly. I didn't get a clear understanding of what I'd be doing, but I got the gist. We'll see how much the description changes when we start. I got an offer 3 days later.

Presentation Behavioral Other

This was an insane interview, glad I didn't get an offer. The process was surprisingly quick. First, there was an interview with the office team for a presentation, and then with the CEO. The office team seemed nice. The CEO was late, rushed, and said he had 50 questions. He then paused the interview to go to the bathroom. I only had 10 minutes left for my presentation. I'm giving a fair review to help job seekers. For me, it was bad because they didn't value my time. I don't like people who rely on books instead of practical experience. I can only assume he's a micromanager. I always recommend interviewing, maybe it's right for you! For me, bullet dodged.

I'm sharing my interview feedback for an Account Manager role I applied for on a job board. Right after applying, before I could do the assessments, I got a Google Meet invite for the next day for an initial screening. The first interview was really positive and seemed transparent. I was told I'd move to a second interview, and the screener offered to schedule it even with the next interviewer out of office. After I followed up a few times via email, three weeks later I got an email late in the afternoon to schedule the second interview for the next day. I replied to confirm before the end of the business day, but got no response or acknowledgment. The next day, still no word until I received a text saying they hired someone the previous evening and apologizing for the runaround, mentioning they weren't aware the candidate was also working with a recruiting firm. So, no second interview happened, but the job is still posted.
