Support Specialist
I applied through the job portal and got a request for an interview in less than 24 hours. I had an in-person interview at the main office with the team leader two business days later. A week later, I got a call to inform me that they would not proceed with me as a candidate, and I received the same message via email a day later.
- The majority of the questions were about me as a person and my experience, rather than the job and my technical knowledge.
Kiosk Staff
You'll start with an online call with the recruiter. They'll ask basic stuff, mainly checking if you can handle busy times and if you're tidy and organized. They'll also cover your schedule and if you can get to the job. Then, you'll have an in-person chat with the manager, which is pretty relaxed, just to get a feel for your personality.
- What do you imagine a typical day on the job involves, and which duties are most critical?
IT Trainee
Really long preapplication process with tests and a cover letter. I couldn't move forward because I forgot to hit confirm on the test, which took 1.5 hours. The recruiter was totally inflexible when I reached out right away about it. Bad experience.
- Can you tell me about your cover letter?
- What are your personality traits?
- Are you able to answer questions about arithmetics?
HR Manager
The process started with initial calls, one with the Business and the direct manager, also including someone from Talent Development. There was also a formal meeting with the Works Council (OR). I then had meetings with the CEO and another management team member. This was an internal application. Some other management team members approached me expressing their hope that I would get the role. My current manager really encouraged and supported me in applying. We even prepared questions together, as she felt I was ready for this step, even though she'd miss me. She knew it was a good move for me, which I found great. My new manager was also very good during the interview; he knew my weak spots but was open to discussing how we could improve them over the year, and he followed through on that promise this past year.
- What do you want to learn?
