Intern
It was a 2 stage interview, starting with 1 online and then an in person. I met with the hiring manager and department director. I got an offer within a few weeks of the second interview.
- How would you handle conflict with a difficult person?
- How do you prioritize when you have competing tasks?
Intern
There was one in person interview and three phone interviews. It was mostly behavioral questions about my background, experience, and interests. They asked some "technical" questions just asking about specific things I've learned about that are pertinent to the business. It wasn't too tough - just be yourself and be honest. They also asked about hobbies and activities which was nice because it seemed like they really wanted to get to know you. It was also important to ask them questions since they leave time at the end for that. You want to show them you have interest in what they are doing and what working there is like.
- Can you tell me about your favorite school project?
Intern
I had a 2.5 hour interview with four people, about 30 mins each. First, HR asked me standard behavioral questions about project management. Then, someone from the team I applied to asked about my interests and gave me a case study on problems the team was dealing with. The last two people explained their roles and what the intern would do. The interview process took a long time to get a response back, and it ended up that the company decided not to move forward with the internship.
- What is your favorite brand?
