Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at NOW.
Intern
The interview process was pretty smooth. Mostly, they asked about my previous experience and my definition of feminism, and why I specifically chose to intern at NOW. I liked the working environment here, but sometimes it just lacks some organization.
- Can you tell me about your previous experience?
- What motivated you to intern at NOW?
- Could you share your thoughts on feminism?
Intern
It was a relaxed process. Emails were used for communication, and there was just one interview round. They were prompt with their responses. An offer was extended about a week after the interview. The initial application was more rigorous than the actual interview.
- In what ways has intersectionality influenced your contributions within the feminist domain?
Intern
Applied online and completed an online form specifying preferences. About two weeks later, I had a phone interview asking about my views on feminism and my reasons for applying.
- What is important to you concerning women's rights?
